We’re looking for a Production Manager.

Attended, a Raleigh-based event planning and production company, seeks an experienced production professional to join our growing team.

As Event Production Manager, you are one part technician, one part logistics planner, and one part client partner. Collaborating with our Director of Production and Production Resource Manager, you will gather event requirements, plan the production logistics that make shows run, and lead execution on-site. A seamless partnership with our Client Services team is essential, as you will work together as one unified team to bring our clients' visions to life in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time role. For this role, you’ll need to live in or near Raleigh, NC, and be willing to work in our downtown office 3-5 days per week and have the ability to work from home 1-2 days per week. Typical hours for this role are 9 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday; on occasion, there is a need to work additional hours on evenings and weekends during other events throughout the year. You may also be asked to travel outside of the area.

  • Gather detailed production requirements from clients and venues

  • Plan or assist in planning comprehensive load-in schedules, crewing, and logistics

  • Draft equipment pack lists and manage rental gear requirements across a variety of events

  • Physically handle, load, and unload A/V equipment from trucks

  • Act as production lead on small to medium-sized event load-ins, handling both setup and show-running of technical elements

  • Partner cohesively with Client Services and maintain a working knowledge of every production department's gear, timelines, and goals

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across both planning and execution phases

  • Take initiative to handle other duties as they arise

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience in live event production, AV, or a related technical field

  • Strong hands-on experience in audio and video engineering, including both technical setup and live show-running; advanced audio or video engineering capability is strongly preferred

  • A basic understanding of drafting layouts and floor plans; the ability to draft in Vectorworks is highly preferred

  • Extreme attention to detail and the ability to manage, organize, and track a large volume of information under tight deadlines

  • The ability to drive a 26' box truck as needed; possession of, or the ability to obtain (with Attended's support), a Class B CDL

  • A consistently pleasant, collaborative, and professional demeanor toward clients, vendors, and coworkers

What We Offer

  • A culture built on showing up for each other, on-site and off

  • An office in Downtown Raleigh with all of the creature comforts within walking distance

  • Fully paid parking pass

  • Flexible work schedules

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Monthly cell phone reimbursement

  • Employee medical insurance is fully paid by the company, with PPO and HSA options

  • Dental, vision, and family medical coverage available

  • Salary range: $68,000 to $76,000 annually

How To Apply

Email your resume to hiring@attendedevents.com with the subject line "Ready to load in". In the body of your email, answer these two questions in a short paragraph each:

  1. Walk us through the most technically complex show you've run. What was your role, and what nearly went sideways?

  2. When you're managing several events in different phases at once, how do you keep everything on track?

We read every application, and how you write matters to us as much as what you've done.
