Founded in 2015, Attended’s dynamic team of movers, shakers, how-can-I-helpers, and do-it-right-the-first-timers is fueled by a genuine passion for people and events, an intense drive to do their best, and, truthfully, more than a few Diet Pepsis (settle down. We stock Coke, too). We’re proud of our roots in Raleigh and the strength of our regional reach in the Southeast. Our Team
Evan Carroll | CEO and Co-Founder
Evan is Attended’s resident experience design expert. Evan has created numerous conference-based events and is an experienced event production director. In addition to Attended, Evan is the author of three books and a keynote speaker. Evan holds MS and BS degrees in Information Science from UNC-Chapel Hill, where he now serves as an adjunct professor. He is a past president of AMA Triangle, where his board earned Chapter of the Year honors, and is a member of the National Speakers Association and Meeting Professionals International.
KAITLIN STAMMETTI | VICE PRESIDENT and creative director
Kaitlin brings over a decade of experience in event planning and production to Attended. As Vice President and Creative Director, she leads with a keen eye for design and a deep understanding of storytelling, crafting immersive experiences that align with clients' visions. Her diverse background—including catering management, venue operations, and event design—enables her to support the entire team while delivering exceptional results for her own clients. A Raleigh native, Kaitlin is a graduate of Enloe High School and Meredith College, where she studied theater, dance, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature.
Jeff Besselman | Vice President of Operations and business development
With almost 20 years of theater, production, and event experience, Jeff has cultivated a wealth of knowledge and the ability to process information and issues quickly with a solutions-focused approach. He believes the key to a successful partnership, whether internally or externally, is open lines of communication and collaboration. Originally from Apex, NC, Jeff spent 12 years in NYC, relocating back to Raleigh in 2016. Jeff holds a B.A. in Communication with a concentration in theatre from North Carolina State University.
Matthew Strampe | Director of Production
Matthew is a seasoned creative professional with 25 years of experience in design and production. Specializing in lighting and scenic design, special effects, and projection technology, he thrives in environments that encourage exploration, research, and collaboration. He has designed over 200 original productions and held leadership roles with organizations such as The Lost Colony, Ballet Memphis, Theatre Memphis, and North Carolina Opera. With a diverse background spanning technical direction, stage management, and production design, Matthew brings his passion for complex, high-impact projects to Attended Events.
Jamie Bockover | EVENT Manager
Jamie brings a decade of event management experience in the corporate, non-profit, public, and private sectors. She thrives in the process of planning successful events, with a skillset focusing on event logistics, event design, catering and venue management, and the end-to-end production of the event experience. Jamie is a Raleigh native with a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management from North Carolina State University with a concentration in Event Management.
Elizabeth Ketchen | Operations Manager
With over 10 years of experience and a strong educational background in business and theater from Mars Hill, Lizzie works with the team to deploy incredible events built on a solid foundation in entertainment industry logistics. Her expertise in meeting planning and travel arrangements were honed through a variety of roles and these experiences have instilled in her a deep respect for confidentiality and a talent for orchestrating seamless project execution.
Wyatt Dowdy | Production Specialist
Wyatt is your go-to when you need something done. As Production Specialist, he can make sure that your event is running smoothly behind the scenes and is ready to serve when you need him. With a background in Film Production, Wyatt knows what it takes to get the job done. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Cinematic Arts and a M.F.A. in Creative writing.
Nell Levine | event coordinator
Nell is a North Carolina native and a proud graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill. Having lived abroad and worked with teams across the U.S., she brings a diverse perspective and a passion for taking people’s events wherever they want to go. Nell thrives on building relationships with clients and identifying new opportunities to drive business growth.
Jazmine Corbin | Event Coordinator
Jazmine, originally from Virginia, has called the Raleigh area home for the past 14 years, where she lives with her husband and two daughters (she’s a proud NC A&T mom!). With a few years of experience in corporate events, Jazmine enjoys turning ideas into unforgettable experiences and loves seeing events come to life. When she’s not busy planning, you can find her enjoying family time and retail therapy!
Shane Smith | Creative Specialist
Shane brings over two decades of experience in art direction, graphic design, and illustration to Attended Events. As a Creative Specialist, he provides a unique design perspective for every event. Originally from South Dakota, Shane earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from East Carolina University.
Laura Craven | Project Manager
Laura provides daily project management services for the Attended team. She enjoys keeping things organized and running smoothly so the team can focus on the work they love to do for our clients. Laura is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and is PMP certified, with over a decade of experience under her belt.
