We’re looking for an Event Coordinator.

Attended, a Raleigh-based event planning and production company, seeks an awesome Event Coordinator to join our growing team.

As an Event Coordinator, you are part producer and part operations maven. You thrive on the details, collaborating with an Account Manager to help create events that educate and inspire. You will work closely with our event operations team, ensuring we exceed our clients' expectations on every project. Your role is dynamic, focused on the day-to-day details and deliverables for your assigned projects, and offers a unique opportunity for growth and learning.

Position Overview

For this role, you’ll need to live in or near Raleigh, NC, and be willing to work in our downtown office 3-5 days per week and have the ability to work from home 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities

The Event Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate ownership of your assignments, always ready to tackle next steps and ask for help when you need it

  • Develop solid, trusting relationships with event partners and vendors

  • Partner with an Account Manager to ensure accurate, complete, and on-time deliverables for our clients and their events

  • Provide regular updates to the team on your projects, issues, needs, and deliverables

  • Help prepare event plans and timelines, ensuring no detail falls through the cracks

  • Coordinate details for client events, including venues, catering, travel, rentals, audio/visual, printing, and promotional products

  • Handle on-site event details as second-in-command for larger projects, including logistics, setup, registration, vendor coordination, and teardown

  • Serve as the main point of contact and project owner for smaller events

  • Help manage event budgets and track event expenses

  • Keep our offices well-stocked and organized, and meet vendors for deliveries as needed

  • Provide administrative support to our team as needed

  • Take initiative to handle other duties as they arise

Preferred Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of post-collegiate experience in special events

  • Experience in a client-facing environment

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
