We’re looking for an Event Coordinator.
Attended Events, a Raleigh-based event planning and production firm, seeks an organized and driven Event Coordinator to join our growing team.
As an event coordinator at Attended Events, you'll be part producer and part relationship builder. You'll thrive on the details, creating events that educate and inspire. You'll work closely with our event operations team, ensuring we exceed our clients' expectations in every project. Your role will be dynamic, focusing on the day-to-day details and deliverables for your assigned projects, offering you a unique opportunity for growth and learning.
Position Overview
This is a full-time role. For this role, you’ll need to live in or near Raleigh, NC, and be willing to work in our downtown office 3-5 days per week and have the ability to work from home 1-2 days per week. Typical hours for this role are 9 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday; on occasion, there is a need to work additional hours on evenings and weekends during other events throughout the year. You may also be asked to travel outside of the area.
Responsibilities
The Event Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:
Demonstrate ownership of your assignments—always ready to tackle next steps and ask for help when you need it
Develop a solid and trusting relationship with event partners and vendors
Partner with project management to ensure accurate, complete, and on-time deliverables
Provide regular updates to the team regarding your projects, issues, needs, and deliverables
Prepare event plans and timelines, ensuring no detail falls through the cracks
Coordinate details for client events, including venues, catering, travel, rentals, audio/visual, printing, and promotional products
Handle on-site event details, including logistics, set-up, registration, vendor coordination, and tear-down
Help manage event budgets and track event expenses
Support our two office locations by keeping our offices well-stocked and organized
Meet vendors for deliveries as needed
Provide administrative support to our team as needed
Complete other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
0-2 years of post-collegiate experience in special events
Experience in a client-facing environment
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
What We Offer
Annual starting salary between $46,000 and $52,000.
